Conversion Manager

Job Description

Grant Street Group is seeking an experienced Conversion Manager to join an expanding and talented team working on our TaxSys^® software product. TaxSys is a state-of-the-art Web-based tax collection and billing system offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. The selected Conversion Manager will lead clients in the conversion to TaxSys from their legacy systems.

TaxSys was launched in Florida in the fall of 2006 and has now been been successfully implemented in the Tax Collector offices of ten Florida counties; our eleventh Florida county is scheduled for go-live in the fall of 2010 and our twelfth in the summer of 2011.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellence in:

Quickly assimilating complex business rules
Requirements gathering for both functional and technical specification documentation
Documentation and understanding of highly complex Software Systems.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing clients through established project tasks on a critical timeline
Requirements gathering and functional and technical specification documentation
Application configuration
Process mapping and continuous improvement
Maintaining relationships with clients and vendors required to grow Grant Street Group's TaxSys business

Required experience:

Proven experience defining and documenting processes and requirements such that both business and technology stakeholders understand
Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
Highly numerate
Strong technical knowledge
Strong business writing skills
Strong project management skills

Experience with any of the following is helpful:

Strong analytical experience using Microsoft Excel
SQL
Software training and documentation
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Business or other related fields

Project may involve some travel within the USA.
